Mystery League - PBS Kids
The Challenge
Mystery, adventure, and learning had to live in the same world.
Mystery League follows three young detectives as they investigate the mysteries of Mulberry Springs, using curiosity, teamwork, and problem-solving to uncover the clues. Created for young audiences, the series balances playful adventure with stories about friendship, community, and learning.
The music needed to support all of those worlds at once, bringing a sense of mystery and discovery to the stories while keeping the overall sound playful, welcoming, and accessible to young viewers.
The Approach
We built a musical world for the mystery.
The music was designed to move with the detectives as they followed clues, discovered new possibilities, and uncovered the stories behind each case.
Playful themes and textures created a sense of curiosity and movement, while more restrained moments allowed the music to support the characters and story without giving away the mystery.
The result was a flexible musical palette that could move between discovery, comedy, suspense, and heart while maintaining a consistent identity across the series.

The finished music gave Mystery League a cohesive sonic world that could move between mystery, adventure, humor, and heart across the series.
Designed to support the story rather than compete with it, the music helped create a world where every clue, discovery, and character moment could have its own musical space.
